For this project, I designed compositions for a 20 page newspaper. I had to choose to showcase the Seven Deadly Sins or the Seven Heavenly Virtues. I used a combination of digital and analog techniques for my compositions. I also took my own photos and found images through Pexels and Unsplash. For my theme, I kept a red halftone effect throughout the booklet. The InDesign file was sent to The Newspaper Club and printed on 55gsm tabloid paper.

Here are the components that I used to create this project.

The cover image was found on Unsplash. I made everything surrounding the skull red to represent the deceased person's sins taking over their fate.

Lust- An intense desire for something, especially sexual.

Gluttony- Excessive eating or drinking.

Greed- An overwhelming desire to continually gain wealth or power.

Sloth- The unwillingness to put in any effort, especially relating to work or physical exertion.

Wrath- Extreme rage or hatred that is often uncontrollable.

Envy- The feeling of being upset over someone's assets or wishing to posses those assets.

Pride- The satisfaction one gets from their own achievements or possessions.
